Guidelines for publication

Publication ethics

The Editorial Board expects authors to comply with codes of conduct for publications. Information presented in the manuscript should be accurate and all sources should be cited.

The journal will not publish articles which solely use Web references. For Web references, the name of the author and the full URL should be given, as well as the date when the reference was last accessed.

Plagiarism occurs when an author presents as its own the ideas and theories of another author, without citing the appropriate sources. Plagiarism is an infringement of copyright laws.

Copyright

The content published in this journal is protected by copyright. No part of this publication may be reproduced, distributed, or transmitted in any form or by any means without prior written permission from the publisher, except for brief quotations used for academic or research purposes with proper citation.

Authors retain the copyright of their work while granting the journal the right of first publication. The views expressed in the articles are those of the authors and do not necessarily reflect the views of the editorial board or the publisher.

Plagiarism

Plagiarism includes citations without appropriate references. It also occurs when cited content exceeds 30% of the manuscript (self-references included). In cases of plagiarism the manuscript will be rejected and it can be re-submitted only after a substantial revision, at least one year after the original submission date. During this year the author(s) cannot publish other articles in the journal.

The Editor-in-Chief takes the final decision in case of plagiarism.

Open Access publishing

All articles are open access and can be accessed online. Printed issues are available in libraries or can be purchased upon request.

Article Processing Charges (APC)

At Forum on Economics and Business, there are no Article Processing Charges (APCs) to be paid by the authors.

Each manuscript is reviewed by two reviewers anonymously (double-blind review).

  • the title is relevant and reflects the content
  • the abstract summarizes the content of the article
  • the work presents originality and novelty
  • the introduction presents relevant studies in the area
  • the article presents consistency, appropriate with the topic chosen

The Editor-in-Chief approves the articles for publication. Re-submission of rejected manuscripts will not be considered.

Conflicts of interest

Editors ensure that there is no conflict of interest between authors and reviewers before sending the manuscript for review. If it is later found that a conflict of interest may exist, new reviewers will be invited and the conflicted reviews will not be taken into consideration.

A conflict of interest occurs when personal, financial, or professional relationships compromise the objectivity of authors, reviewers, or editors in the publication process.
